Based on a true story, My Name is Khan is a movie who’s plot revolves around a Muslim, Rizwan Khan (Shah Rukh) based in San Francisco, who suffers from a rare kind of autism called the Asperger syndrome. Rizwan lives with his brother and sister in law, and later marries Mandira (Kajol) who plays a Hindu single mother. Trouble ensues after the 9/11 attacks, when rifts form between Rizwan and Mandira, resulting in a broken marriage. Things get worse when he is detained by US authorities in California, who mistake his disability for ‘suspicious’ behavior. He is then introduced to a therapist who helps him deal with his misery and encourages him to meet the US president to fight for the injustice done to him.

Contrary to the common misconception, the movie is not based on Islam, but on a simple man’s journey to fight for justice and to win back his love. The movie aims to inspire joy and optimism in people’s hearts and spread the message of goodwill throughout the world.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, whenever put together, have clicked! Let’s see how their latest endeavor performs at the box office this year.

Today there was a IPL Match between Rajasthan Royals and Kings Punjab.It was really a interesting match to match.The owners of both the teams is bollywood actress.Rajasthan Royals owner is Shipla Shetty while the owner of Kings Punjab is Priety Zinta.I am on side of Preity Zinta as she is my favourite one.Kings Punjab captain is Yuvraj Singh while Rajasthan Royals captain is Shane Warne.Kings Punjab was doing the first batting and the starting was really disappointed as nearly four wickets were down on 40 Runs.None of the players were able to set on this pitch today.But later on Irfan Pathan and Kumara Sangakara done a very well batting and make a score of 139 Runs for Punjab Kings.I was thinking that Rajasthan Royals will score this runs easily because they have super stroke batsman like Yusuf Pathan and others.But Rajasthan Royals dissappointed very much because they lost most of their wickets within 50 Runs.Lastly they were needed some of 32 Runs in 1 over when Shane Warne was batting.But this was not really possible for them because no batsman were playing at this time.Lastly there came a cute smile on the face of Preity Zinta as Kings Punjab won the match second time after they faced bad luck in the starting of the series due to rain.

A body heat system that requires you to keep your temperature up while on board a frozen ship stuck in the middle of the Arctic Circle. Former crew members who’ve apparently come back from the dead to haunt the ship and do you grievous bodily harm. You can even step into the minds of NPCs and, then, travel back in time to change events in the past. All of this, plus some creepy scares, add up to an intriguing, if sometimes confusing game from 1C and developer Action Form.

You’ll play as kick-butt, two-fisted meteorologist Alexander Nesterov, who mysteriously finds himself in the bowels of the “North Wind.” By game’s end, you’ll make your way through the entire ship (which, developers told us, is about the height of a nine-story building), all the while uncovering what happened on board after it became stuck in the ice. That ice will be a constant problem for you as you make your way around. Because the ship is frozen, you’ll need to keep a constant eye on both the outside temperature and your own body heat levels, measured by a small meter in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. If you stay exposed to the chill for too long, it’s game over for Nesterov. Luckily (and perhaps illogically for a ship that’s been stranded in the ice for very long), you’ll find frequent spots where you can regain your body heat.

Once you’ve manged to warm back up, though, you’ll probably have other problems on your hands in the form of psychotic enemies you’ll encounter. The explanation for their appearance was a bit confusing to us, but the gist of it is that these are former crew members who were taken over by the cold when the North Wind was trapped; some fought for their lives and others embraced the cold, turning them into the enemies that want you dead. You’ll start the game with just your bare hands to defend yourself, but soon enough you’ll find weapons you can use, such as shotguns, rifles, and fire axes. The game is set in 1968, so don’t expect laser cannons (or even submachine guns, for that matter) but a few good blasts from a tommy gun look to be enough to take down most enemies.

When you aren’t warming your tootsies or blasting enemies back to the nether-reaches, Alexander will be using his mental echo ability–which will allow him to peer into the minds of other players and, even more oddly, travel back into the past to try to rectify things. For instance, during one level, you’ll encounter a sailor who met an unfortunate end when a pane of glass exploded right in front of him, firing a shard of glass into his neck. Using the mental echo ability, you can travel back in time, take over that sailor’s body just seconds before that explosion, and move him out of the way. It seems as though saving the different crew members who died on board in this manner will be a key to unlocking the story and reaching the end of Cryostasis.

With frozen combat, creepy-looking mummified bad guys, telepathy, and time travel of sorts, there’s definitely an “everything but the kitchen sink” vibe happening with Cryostasis. Will that imaginative approach result in a varied experience? We’ll find out when the game is released on PCs this October.

In terms of training, few actually get the “right” training. They go to a crash course program like Mesmer f/x (which teaches you about brand X software in 3 short weeks), put together a rather weak demo reel in the same timeframe, and then hit the streets looking for a job. These people, in my opinion, have no training at all because they know nothing of the art of animation, nothing about lighting, nothing about story telling. They just “think” they know the software. The majority of the failures occur amongst these individuals. Sound a little disheartening? It should. You are attempting to break into the film industry. You are just like an actor auditioning for a part. Everyone wants the part, you have to want it more than anyone else, so much so that they couldn’t cast anyone else but you for the role.

If you go to a top quality and reputable school (and do _well_), your chances of getting your foot in the door for an interview increase ten-fold. The recruiters know what is taught at these schools and can assume that you are versed in a lot of things that most other candidates are not, but not always though. A person who has been trained in cinematology will stage their animations differently than those who have not. It’s called framing a scene. Every scene or shot is framed so that it has the maximum impact on the audience in other woods, it tells a compelling story. Students of crash course programs tend to mimic what they’ve seen before, whether good or bad, which indicates a lack of creativity on their part. It’s like copying the Mona Lisa and saying you did it. Yes, you may be able to technically copy something, but without the original there for you to work from, would you be able to paint it on your own? There are a lot of choices to be made…what canvas to use, what medium, what hues, what pose…a lot of questions. Granted you won’t be responsible for every question hat needs to be answered, but you will have to be consciously aware of them. That’s the difference between a good education and an adequate one.

There are no guarantees in this business. It’s one part talent and two parts part luck. The old axiom “It’s not what you know, but who you know” rings true here. Once you get into the biz, you’re over the biggest hump. From then on, you’re one of the players who move from one studio to the next, looking for a better job opportunity. But you have to survive that first spring cut to do it. Some people find work but can’t keep up with the pace. They end up burning out or getting fired. These companies are looking for the best, and you’ll have to stay on top if you want to work for the big boys like ILM, Disney, or Pixar.

Animation Schools and Colleges:

School is very expensive. You can expect to spend about 6K for a crash course in animation as well, but I highly advise against attending such programs for the above mentioned reasons. You get what you pay for. Private schools such as Ringling, Sheridan, etc. will cost you a lot more than state run schools (like twice as much or more!). They’re a bit more picky about who they accept and pride themselves in producing top quality graduates. They not in the business of making sure “X” number of students graduate each year, they have their reputations to uphold…hence the dramatic increase in the quality of the education. You will most likely be paying out of state tuition at one of these schools, but federal aid is available to you at most accredited institutions, so always look into that before you choose school “A” over school “B”. I’m not about to suggest that you can’t find the education that you want where you live, the education curriculums change all the time and more and more schools are offering Animation programs. Just be sure that the school you attend is the right one for you, because in all likely-hood, you won’t be able to afford another education at another school after that. A lot of information on different schools is now available on the Net. Check ‘em out.

Demo Reels and Choosing a School:

Demo reels should be done while in school. That’s something you’ll want to check out. Some places provide no means for putting student’s work to tape! Avoid these places, as digital to video transfer can cost a fortune! It also shows that they aren’t as “hip” to the business as they claim to be. Also understand that a good demo reel takes more than a couple days to put together. Good work takes time. Some folks spend years refining their reels.

If you interested in Animation, then don’t go to a school that _doesn’t_ offer a program in Animation, electives don’t count. A lot of schools offer electives in using animation software, and that’s not the same thing as being educated in Animation.

Get in contact with schools and ask for a free info packet, they should be more than happy to provide you with one and this will give you a good opporunity to see what they offer and teach. If you can, visit these schools and get in touch with former students. There’s nothing like seeing a school first hand and touring the facilities, but if you can’t do that, contacting former students will give you a good idea of what the school is like. Just make sure you talk to more than one person…different people have different experiences!

Story:
An offbeat tale, the story is set on the backdrop of London where Pinu Patel (Vinay) is a successful hotelier with his ‘Gaylord’ restaurant. Though success has been with him professionally, his personal life is hazy since Pinu has never had the scent of a woman. To add to his woes, when he comes to India for getting married through the arranged marriage channel, the bride elopes from the Shaadi ka Mandap along with her lover tearing Pinu to pieces. He returns to London and his life takes a turn when he reluctantly hires Kamles (Anuj) as a cook and a part time stand up comedian. Simultaneously, he also ropes in Renu (Gul) who is an art student from India and is very bold. The restaurant gets a new image but one day Kamles wins a lottery and in his excitement he hugs Pinu and accidentally kisses him on the lips. This kind of sets a flash in Pinu and sows a seed about his sexuality leading him to ask if he is Gay. Also, a chance encounter with Renu kind of goes off track which strengthens his doubts. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
